The Whale’s Story by Louisa M. Alcott
The world’s oceans were just recently celebrated on June 8 (see worldoceansday.org) so today’s blog is a short story, further truncated by the editors of Classics Old and New A Third Reader in 1906, in honor of our world’s oceans. Louisa M(ay) Alcott, most well-known for her young adult novel, Little Women, has an ample collection of work that I am inspired to dive into (no pun intended) in my free time.
