Codes of “Honor”

This is the last installment of the “Introduction” to Dr. Mary Edwards Walker’s Unmasked. She hints at further discussion of very serious subjects and how our acceptance of current behavior (though written more than 120 years ago, still applies) leads to accepting atrocities committed on the most vulnerable.

 

This is the last of our readings by a woman, for the sake of women, during National Women’s History Month. Dr. Walker certainly made history and positive changes for every patient she tended and every woman for whom she advocated–which includes you!  Celebrate!
