Where Go the Boats?

This one is for Dad.

When I was in third grade at Lincoln Elementary (Go Lions!), I had my very own DAD for my teacher! In the Poetry unit, he had every student memorize one of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classics–Where Go the Boats.

I have even more fond memories of this poem because it came from a book I loved (and my children do today!)–A Child’s Garden of Verses–some of Stevenson’s work, gently illustrated by Tasha Tudor.
