I Have a Rendezvous with Death by Alan Seeger

A familiar poem, published posthumously, and a favorite of John F. Kennedy, “I Have a Rendezvous with Death” is today’s audio blog. The poem, accompanied by a photo of the poet after he joined the French Foreign Legion, struck me by its honor, contemplation, and resignation of such a young man who would, too quickly, have that rendezvous.
