How do I love thee? . . .

 

Quite possibly my favorite love poem–written by Elizabeth Barrett Browning to her husband, the poet Robert Browning.  They met through her poetry and their correspondence. He–a younger man–fell in love and gave her the courage to liberate herself from an overbearing father and dysfunctional family life, finally, at the age of 38.  And she penned these words . . .
