Flexibility and Gratitude
I have my last excerpt from the interview with author Derek Barton in today’s blog. He’s introduced us to his fantasy works and we’ve been able to learn from his experiences as an indie author about all the resources available for aspiring authors, all the hats one must wear as a solopreneur, when and where to bring in the experts (note the map of the Tahnevan world), how to collaborate, and today, how to be flexible for the fast-changing pace of marketing your book. He also mentions folks who’ve been there for him, getting him back into writing and keeping him there.
Thanks, Derek, for a fun and interesting time of chatting with you. So glad we didn’t leave the association only to high school. Write on!
