Puna and the Dragon

I enjoy researching different characters, places, creatures, and various aspects of stories I narrate. It helps me get into the story and imagine what the characters face or where they are having their adventure and living their lives–it enriches my experience and that comes across in my narration for the listener! In my current project (Fire Cursed Book 2: Homecoming, by J.E. Taylor), the heroine, Faith Kennedy, has to fight many hellish creatures, one of which is the kapua, from Polynesian folklore. I found the story of Puna and the Dragon, adapted it for length and time, and have it here, to share with you. Enjoy!
