Baby–I’m back!
I mIIIISSSSed doing this blog! I set the blog aside, feeling it wasn’t pulling in potential clients for voice over work or really building the following I’d anticipated. So why restart it? I am renewing my efforts to reach people through social media, let you know what I’m working on and what’s coming up for Laura’s Voice, as well as the other couple of projects I’m working on. I’ll be publishing on Thursdays, at least twice a month, but this week, my website crashed so I’m a day delayed. Nonetheless, here we are!
So I have some news, which has been on Facebook, but I’ll show it off here, too—J. E. Taylor, a USA Today bestselling author of paranormal romance books, has just completed her Fractured Fairy Tales series with Books 8, 9, and 10. First up is Jasmine: the story of a genie and her master and an unexpected connection.
Belle: She’s obnoxious and rude and pays for it–for years, until someone comes along who can’t see her flaws–who can’t see at all.
Hook: Peter Pan isn’t just a boy who never grew up, but something much more insidious—in fact, I came across a quote from an article in The New Yorker, titled, “Why J. M. Barrie Created Peter Pan,” by Anthony Lane (11/14/2004): “In the early version of the play, there is no Captain, because there is no need for him; Peter supplies all the cruelty that is required.” Yeesh . . . .
Remember, I have coupon codes I can send to you if you’d like to listen to any one of these for FREE on Audible! Message me here or on Facebook or Instagram @LauraRichcreekVoiceActor. The entire series is available on Audible, as well!
Here’s a sample from Hook to tease your ears! Thanks for listening!
